Give HR an extra pair of hands.

AI HR software for everyday HR work - answering questions, preparing documents, handling employee processes and keeping HR moving.

Where AI genuinely helps HR

The best opportunities are the repetitive tasks that consume time without needing every decision made from scratch: finding the right policy or document without searching folders and messages, answering everyday leave and process questions, drafting offer letters and policy updates for human review, summarising feedback themes, and guiding a manager through the next step of a process before it becomes an email to HR.

Where AI must not replace people

HR decisions affect jobs, pay and development. In Kenya a dismissal needs a valid, provable reason and a fair procedure (Employment Act ss.41, 43 and 45) - a hearing the employee understands, with a chance to respond. A model's score is neither. Keep a named human accountable for every consequential decision, and treat AI output as a draft or a pointer, never a verdict.

Employee data and the law

Sending employee data to an AI tool is processing under the Data Protection Act, 2019. Consider the lawful basis and privacy notice, collect only what you need, check where data is stored and whether it leaves Kenya, and know your breach duties. The ODPC is actively enforcing - thousands of complaints, compensation orders and penalty notices since the Act took effect. Your data stays in your account, never training shared models, with clear permissions on what the AI can see.

Seven questions to ask any AI HR vendor

What information does the AI use? Can it show where an answer came from? Where is employee data stored and processed? Is the vendor registered with the ODPC? Can administrators control what it can access? What happens when it is uncertain? Can it guide a process rather than simply answer a question? A vendor that answers all seven clearly is worth a demo; one that waves them away is not.

An AI manager, not another dashboard

It does HR work - answering, drafting, flagging - instead of adding another screen to check. Currently in early access: practical help for growing businesses without a large HR function, with answers linked to their sources.

0 actions taken without human confirmation

That is the design, not a setting. Sample figure: the pledge itself is the product promise.

Frequently asked questions

Will AI replace my HR person?

No - it takes repetitive work off their plate so they can focus on people. AI drafts and prepares; people decide, with human oversight on everything that matters.

Does the AI act without confirmation?

Never on anything consequential. It prepares drafts and suggestions, and a person confirms before anything is sent or recorded.

Where does our HR data go?

It stays in your account under clear permissions and is not used to train shared models. Check where any AI vendor stores and processes employee data, and whether the vendor is registered with the ODPC.

What HR documents can it draft?

Offer letters, warning letters, policy updates and everyday employee communications - always as drafts for a human to review, never as final decisions.

What kinds of HR questions can it answer?

Leave balances, policy questions, contract terms and process how-tos - the everyday questions that currently interrupt HR's day. Answers should link to their source policy or document.

Can AI handle discipline or dismissal decisions?

No. Kenyan law requires a provable reason and a fair hearing before termination for poor performance or misconduct. AI can help find the policy and the process; the decision and the hearing belong to people.
