Employee engagement software with pulse surveys, feedback and eNPS - helping HR spot patterns, listen to employees and act on what matters.

The problem: you find out too late

The resignation letter is the last signal, not the first. Before it come months of quieter ones: effort dropping to the minimum, good ideas unsaid, hallway complaints that never reach a manager. Teams searching for engagement software usually share one frustration - they sense how people feel only after it has already cost them someone. Engagement work exists to shorten that distance: to hear the signal while there is still time to act on it.

Kenya's engagement picture

Gallup's 2026 report puts engagement among Kenyan employees at 21%, against a global average of 20%: 54% not engaged, 24% actively disengaged. Engagement has roughly tripled since 2013 - real progress - but about four in five employees remain disengaged or only passively committed. Gallup sets a higher bar than satisfaction, so do not compare this with favourable-percentage survey scores. Perceived job-market confidence has also risen, which is a reason not to treat low-engagement-but-still-here as safe.

What drives engagement

Good management shapes most of an employee's day. Clear expectations: people cannot engage with work they do not understand. Recognition: people notice what gets ignored - in a ten-country study, 80% said recognition makes valuable work visible (not a Kenya-only finding). Growth: people want to improve, not just get older in the same role. Connection: people need to feel part of something. Wellbeing matters too: Gallup finds 26% of Kenyan employees reported a lot of loneliness the previous day. Notice what none of these require: not perks, not slogans - the everyday experience of being managed well.

Measure what you can act on

Surveys can tell you where problems might exist; they cannot fix them. Useful engagement information tells a manager who needs attention, where the problem is, what changed since last month, and what to do next: survey, decide, assign an owner, check whether it worked. Two or three questions, sent monthly, beats a fifty-question annual survey - short enough to answer honestly, frequent enough to catch patterns before they become resignations. Track your own trend line; a stranger's benchmark average tells you nothing about your team.

Engagement is culture made visible

Every engagement score is a culture reading. Low recognition scores mean the culture does not notice good work; low growth scores mean it does not develop people; low connection scores mean belonging is assumed rather than built. That is why measurement alone never fixes engagement - the scores point at the culture underneath, and the culture is what has to change. Read the company-culture guide for the system that sits beneath the scores: the repeated behaviours that decide whether the next pulse moves.

Frequently asked questions

What drives employee engagement most?

Management basics: clear expectations, recognition, growth and connection. Perks and events help at the margins; the everyday experience of being managed well moves the number.

How do you measure employee engagement?

Short pulse surveys sent monthly, plus an eNPS question trended over time. Two or three questions beats a fifty-question annual survey - frequent enough to catch patterns, short enough to answer honestly.

Are survey responses really anonymous?

Yes - anonymous by default, with minimum group sizes so no one can be identified from a small team's answers.

What do we do with the results?

Every score ships with a suggested next action - the step most programmes skip. Share the theme, name the action and the owner, follow up at the next pulse to check whether it worked.

How is eNPS calculated?

Employees rate how likely they are to recommend you as a workplace; promoters minus detractors gives the score. We track it as your trend over time, not a benchmark against other companies.

Won't people get survey fatigue?

Two or three questions a month beats a fifty-question annual survey. Short, regular and visibly acted-on keeps response rates up - fatigue comes from surveys that change nothing.

How does engagement connect to performance and culture?

Engagement scores are culture readings - they show where the system underneath is working. Feed the themes into 1:1s and reviews so performance conversations start from what people actually reported, and read the company-culture guide for the behaviours beneath the scores.
